Blueberry Banana Pie

"This is an old family recipe that I have tweaked a bit over the years. My most requested recipe for sure. Super easy and fast for the person who doesn't have a lot time or the inclination to tackle complicated recipes."

Ingredients

  • 2 baked pie crust shells
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 (28-ounce) can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar (to taste)
  • 3 cup whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Slice bananas, single layer into baked pie shells going up the edges.

  2. Beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Fold in whipped cream (works best with real whipped cream but can use cool whip or dream whip).

  3. Spread cream cheese mixture into center of pie, slightly hollowing out the center and up the edges to the rim.

  4. Stir blueberry pie filling and divide equally between the 2 pies, leaving about a 1" border of the cream cheese mixture. Chill and keep refrigerated.
