Salmon Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. can salmon
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup fine chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

Take all bones out of salmon. Add all ingredients together and mix well. Make patties (small or large). Chill the patties for about 1 hour before cooking. In a large skillet melt the butter over low heat then add the oil. Fry the salmon patties over medium heat browning each side. Drain on paper towel. Serve. Sauce 1/4 cup mayonasie 2 tsp. Dijon mustard 1-2 Tbsp fresh, chopped dill or 1 Tbsp dried dill Combine all and put into the refrigerator to let the flavors blend.
