Have a Ball! Oreo Balls, Meatballs, and More Ball-Shaped Food

This is going to sound strange, but I really like geometrical foods. Triangular apple pie slices, a square piece of chocolate cake, unbroken graham crackers, Oreo ball recipes… I can’t really explain it, but there’s something so satisfying about foods that have a distinguishable shape.

I know what you’re thinking: “This girl is crazy. Why am I even reading this?” I feel you. I understand. But please tell me that you’ve never once tried to eat a geometrically shaped slice of something in a way where you try to keep some sort of shape. So, nibbling opposite corners of a graham cracker, biting something completely in half… Anything like that. Okay, now I’m starting to weird myself out, so I’ll stop there.

Out of all of the food shapes, however, the one I really like best are ball-shaped foods. They’re just so fun, partially because the majority of them (like Oreo ball recipes) are small enough to just pop in your mouth! But you’ve got your Oreo balls, meatballs, cheese ball recipes, spinach balls, cake balls… If you think about it, you’re surrounded by ball-shaped foods and ball recipes on a daily basis. You just probably never noticed!

Below are a few ball recipes that I think you’ll really want to try. Like, today.

Do you have a thing for ball-shaped foods and ball recipes, or am I just crazy?
Please tell me I’m not crazy…
