Ros Watermelon Smoothie

"A rosé wine and watermelon smoothie recipe that’s perfect for summer. A cold and refreshing summery drink perfect to beat the heat of the summer. A delicious wine & frozen watermelon recipe to pair with light meals for dinner or lunch. Watermelon has extremely high water content. It’s the perfect fruit to eat on a hot day. But, to combat the watery smoothie problem, it is best to freeze the watermelon overnight. When choosing your watermelon, look for a seedless variety to make your life easier. If you can’t find seedless watermelon, take the time to pick out the seeds before you freeze it."

NotesPeel and cut the melon into small chunks. You can pickle the watermelon rind to avoid waste. Pickled watermelon rind is a great afternoon snack.

Serve smoothies in chilled glasses. For garnish, place a few wedges of watermelon aside when cutting your watermelon. A sprig of fresh mint will add a pretty pop of green once you are ready to serve.
