Tip: Make sure you use a frozen banana as this gives the smoothie a thick, creamy, ice cream like texture! Just stick the banana in your freezer whole, with the peel on, and it will freeze well overnight. When you’re ready to make your smoothie, just take the banana from the freezer, and peel it before dropping it into the blender. This smoothie is a perfect brunch or even a mid-morning snack. I love to make these for the kids when they get home from school, and they love it too! It’s a great way to sneak in a serving of fruits and protein while still giving them a special treat. These also make great breakfasts when I’m in a hurry too!"
