Iced Tea with Ginseng Extract

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts (8 cups) water
  • 1 Lipton tea bag
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginseng extract

Instructions

Heat water in a large saucepan until it boils. Turn off heat, put the teabag in the water, then cover the pan and let the tea steep for 1 hour. Pour the sugar into a 2-quart pitcher. Pour the tea into the pitcher and stir to dissolve sugar. Add lemon juice and ginseng and stir. Cool and serve. Makes 2 quarts.
