Christmas Pudding Vodka
Start two weeks early with a Christmas Pudding Vodka this year! Drink recipes don't usually involved so much down time, but it's worth it!
Ingredients
- 700 milliliter bottle vodka
- 9 ounce dark muscovado sugar
- 9 ounce caster sugar
- 100 gram mixed peel
- 250 gram sultanas
- 250 gram raisins
- 1/2 orange, rind and juice
- 1/2 lemon, rind and juice
- 2 teaspoon almond essence
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 6 cloves
- 2 heaping teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into a 2 litre kilner jar.
- Shake daily for 2 weeks.
- Strain and bottle.
