Nana's Secret Angel Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3-3/4 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cup angel cake cubes
  • 1 can (13-14 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (2 oz.) package dessert topping mix

Instructions

  1. In a small mixer bowl, gradually blend milk into cream cheese, beating until smooth.
     
  2. Add pudding mix and beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
     
  3. Pour pudding mixture over angel cake cubes, stirring to coat.
     
  4. Turn into a 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Spread drained pineapple over top.
     
  5. Prepare dessert topping mix according to package directions. Spread over top. Chill several hours or overnight.
