Gingersnap Trifle

"This is a light and easy dessert recipe is perfect for this holiday season. It is layered with gingersnap cookies giving this dessert just enough holiday flare. It can be put together in under twenty minutes making it ideal to bring to a get together for this holiday season. This simple dessert is layered with pudding, angel food cake, whipped topping, and gingersnap cookings. It will be adults and kids new favorite dessert for this holiday season!"

Ingredients

  • 1 box angel food cake or store bought angel food cake
  • 2 package sugar free jello pudding mix
  • 4 cup skim milk
  • 1 bag crunchy gingersnap cookies
  • 12 ounce light whipped topping
  1. Bake the angel food cake according to package instructions and let cool completely

  2. Tear the angel food cake up in large bite size pieces and set aside

  3. Mix the pudding and milk according to package instructions and then fold in half the light whip topping

  4. Place the gingersnap cookies in a large bag and crush into small pieces and crumbs

  5. In a trifle bowl layer half the angel food cake, then half the pudding, and enough cookies to coat the entire pudding layer. Repeat for a second time

  6. Top the trifle with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle gingersnap cookies on the top
