Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin Butter

"Apple butter is great, but if you really want to embrace the spirit of fall, you need to make this amazing Pumpkin Butter recipe. It’s so simple, and only has a few ingredients, but it’s delicious. The best thing about this pumpkin butter is that unlike most recipes, it doesn’t need to be cooked. I’ve seen many recipes that call for the mixture to be cooked in a crockpot for several hours before the Pumpkin Butter is ready to eat. Even though the slow cooker is an easy way to cook something like Pumpkin Butter or apple butter because you can set it and forget it, I still like the no-cook method better! Some great ways to serve this Pumpkin Butter is on toast, biscuits, or even on top of waffles or pancakes! It’s a great spread and is the perfect topping for fall. It really reminds me a lot of a creamy pumpkin pie the way the flavors meld together. I also love the fact that this recipe doesn’t have any refined sugar, and instead uses maple syrup to sweeten it. Maple syrup is much easier on your body and is a much better, and more natural way to sweeten recipes like this. The maple flavor is actually a nice touch since this is such a fall-themed recipe."
