Slow-Cooked Chicken Parmesan

Not your average chicken parmesan recipe, Slow-Cooked Chicken Parmesan is a creamy casserole that the family will love. Slow cooked so the flavors all blend together, it may be one of the tastiest chicken recipes out there it's super easy too! Ingredients

  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 6 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 envelope (about 1 ounce) dry onion soup & recipe mix
  • 2 can (10.75 ounces each) Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup uncooked converted long-grain white rice
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a 4-quart slow cooker with the cooking spray.

  2. Place the chicken into the cooker. Place 1 tablespoon of butter onto each chicken breast half.

  3. Stir the onion soup mix, mushroom soup, milk and rice in a medium bowl. Pour over the chicken. Sprinkle with the cheese.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
