Jalapeno Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup jalapenos, minced
  • 1/4 cup onions, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Saute onions and jalapenos in 1 TB olive oil until translucent.
     
  2. Melt butter in pan and add flour. Stir to make a paste..do not burn only lightly brown. Remove from heat.
     
  3. Add milk and stir constantly until smooth. Add onions and jalapenos along with cheese and salt and pepper.
     
  4. Stir over low-med heat until cheese is melted.
