Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dried small white beans, rinsed
  • 6 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 lb. salt pork

Instructions

Pour beans into slow cooker; add water. Soak for at least 6 hours or overnight. Cover pot and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or until beans are tender. Add salt, molasses, mustard, brown sugar, and onion. Cut salt pork into 2 or 3 pieces. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours. Keep hot in slow cooker.
