Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds round steak
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can tomato soup or stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl and dredge steak in the flour mixture.
     
  2. Heat butter in a medium pan and saute onion until soft; set aside. In the same pan, brown steaks on both sides, but don't cook through.
     
  3. Place steaks and onion in your slow cooker, then add tomato soup, water, and vinegar. Stir to combine.
     
  4. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
