Best Frosted Orange Cookies

These classic orange cookies deserve a spot on your dessert table.

Orange Cookies

Light, fluffy, and full of sweet citrus flavor, these frosted orange cookies are a classic for a reason. They remind us of the holidays, when a plate of orange cookies always makes its way to the dessert table. We think that this version is worthy of any holiday party, and we hope you do too.

One of the reasons we like this recipe so much is that it's very simple to make. The cookies are made from scratch, and so you get that rich homemade flavor. But we've skipped a homemade icing in favor of a time-saving canned vanilla frosting. Be sure to garnish with some extra orange zest, and these cookies willl be so flavorful that no one will know that they get a little help from the store.
