Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (3-4 bananas)
  • 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Cream together the butter with the sugar in a stand mixer until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs to the creamed butter, one at a time. Then add the vanilla extract.

  4. Mix in the mashed bananas.

  5. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda together in a separate bowl. Then slowly add the flour mixture to the rest of the ingredients. Stir until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  6. Scoop the cookie dough into tablespoon-sized scoops and place on the griddle.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven 12-15 minutes. Let cool.
