- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 & ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tube white icing
