Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup mint chocolate candies

Instructions

  1. In a quart-sized mason jar, layer the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, oats, chocolate candies, brown sugar and sugar, packing each layer tightly.

    To Prepare:

    1. Empty jar of cookie mix into a mixing bowl; mix well. 

    2. Add 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted, 2 beaten eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. 

    3. ​Mix until blended.

    4. Roll into 1-inch balls, and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

    5. Bake at 375 degrees F until edges are lightly browned, about 12 to 14 minutes.
