Blarney Stones

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • peanuts, ground

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F. Beat eggs until light; add sugar. Beat again. Add a little of the water and flour, then heat. Continue this until water and flour are gone. Add baking powder to the flour mixture before mixing. Mix well. Add salt and vanilla. Bake in moderate oven at 350F for about 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into squares. Cover with powdered sugar frosting and roll in peanuts.
