Snowball Cookies
With so many to choose among holiday cookie recipes it can be hard to decide. Well you must add this one to your cookie menu. These Snowball Cookies are light and delicious and perfect for Christmas.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, cream until fluffy.
- Add unbeaten egg and vanilla. Beat well.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture.
- Divide dough and chill.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Roll dough into small balls.
- Place on an un-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
- Immediately roll in confectionery sugar when removed. Cool and roll again.
