Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup hot red pepper sauce
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 15 ounce chicken thighs
  • 18 ounce Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoon ground chipotle peppers
  • 1 teaspoon ground dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the water.

  2. Add hot sauce to the egg mixture.

  3. In another bowl, combine flour and black pepper.

  4. Season the chicken thighs with salt, garlic powder chipotle peppers, dried oregano, and thyme and, ground dried basil.

  5. Let it sit for 3 minutes.

  6. Dip the chicken into the egg, and then coat well with flour mixture.

  7. Fry until golden brown.

  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and a bottle of white wine.
