Crab Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe

This crab-stuffed chicken breast recipe is a decadent stuffed chicken breasts recipe with Swiss cheese, hollandaise sauce and white wine. Someone with a sophisticated pallet will love this rich dish!

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoon white wine
  • 7 1/2 ounce flaked crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup herb stuffing mix
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 package hollandaise sauce mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon white wine
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
     
  2. Skin and bone chicken breasts; pound to flatten.
     
  3. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
     
  4. Cook onion and celery in 3 tablespoons of butter until tender.
     
  5. Remove from heat; add 3 tablespoons of wine, the crab and stuffing mix, and toss.
     
  6. Divide mixture among breasts.
     
  7. Roll up and secure.
     
  8. Combine flour, paprika.
     
  9. Coat chicken.
     
  10. Place in 11x7x2-inch baking dish , drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
     
  11. Bake uncovered in 375 degree F oven for 1 hour.
     
  12. Transfer to platter.
     
  13. Blend hollandaise sauce mix, milk.
     
  14. Cook, stirring, until thick.
     
  15. Add remaining wine and cheese.
     
  16. Stir until cheese melts.
     
  17. Serve over chicken.
