Silly Nacho Casserole

If you love nachos, you'd be crazy not to try this Silly Nacho Casserole! Turn your favorite appetizer into a tasty main dish for dinner. This is one of the easiest ground beef casseroles to make. Everyone is sure to love it, especially the kids!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef (browned)
  • taco seasoning (to taste)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 3 cup crushed nacho cheese corn chips (ie. Doritos)
  • 2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • extra cheese, salsa, lettuce, and tomato, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
     
  2. Brown ground beef. Drain and add taco seasoning to taste.
     
  3. Stir in salsa and heat thoroughly.
     
  4. Prepare pan by spraying lightly with cooking spray.
     
  5. Place half of corn chips in bottom of prepared pan.
     
  6. Spread meat mixture over chips.
     
  7. Spread sour cream over meat mixture. Top with cheese and remaining chips.
     
  8. Bake until cheese is melted.
     
  9. Note: Add zip with extra salsa, cheese, lettuce and tomato after baking or on the plate before serving.
