"Cassoulet is the French dish of dried beans with meat - the ultimate comfort dish, with duck and pork. Pork belly provided the fat, a little bacon a little smokiness; and I sprinkled breadcrumbs over the casserole as well as the serving bowls. It's a traditional French cassoulet that is cooked with dried haricot or pinto beans, in low oven or in a slow cooker. Swap duck for chicken legs if you like; cassoulet is a hearty and warming one pot dish."
