A delicious cherry candy filling is surrounded by two layers of chocolate to make these quick bars. The whole process can be done in little more than 10 minutes!

Cooking Time10 min

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (12-ounce) finely ground peanuts
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (6-ounce) bag cherry chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped Marischino cherries, well drained

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and peanut butter together, then stir in the peanuts. Spread 1/2 of this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan; set aside remaining mixture for later.

  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine condensed milk, marshmallows and butter. Bring to a boil (carefully, as this scorches easily) and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Add cherry chips and stir to melt, then add Maraschino cherries. Spread over the chocolate in the pan, then top with remaining chocolate mixture.

  4. Chill to set, but remove from refrigerator prior to serving.
