Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • one 12-ounce package milk chocolate chips
  • Miniature muffin tins and paper baking cups

Instructions

Mix together peanut butter, salt and powdered sugar until firm. Refrigerate if needed until it is firm. Melt chocolate in microwave or over hot water. If using hot water, do not let any water get into the chocolate. Spoon some chocolate into each cup (about 1/2 full) and using a spoon pull the chocolate up the sides of the paper cups. Cool in refrigerator until firm. When set, put about one teaspoon peanut butter filling in each cup leaving room to put a layer of chocolate over the top of the peanut butter. Makes 12.
