Crystal Cut Candy Candies

Ingredients

  • 2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of light corn syrup
  • dash of salt
  • good flavoring oils (extracts)

Instructions

I use the tiny bottles of flavor oils found in cake and candy stores, they are the best. Bring sugar, salt, and corn syrup, and water to a boil. Heat to 290F (using a candy thermometer)degrees. Remove from heat, add food coloring and flavoring. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet and score into square little puffs working from the outside in. Break apart.
