Chocolate Enrobed Garlic

Ingredients

  • 12 plump garlic cloves
  • 50 milliliter grenadine syrup
  • 50 milliliter port
  • a pinch of aromatic salt
  • 50g bitter chocolate

Instructions

Put the garlic, syrup, port and salt in a bowl and marinate overnight. Transfer to pan and simmer for 8-10 mins. Open twelve paperclips out into a walking stick shape, pierce each garlic clove with a paperclip Melt the chocolate, dunk the cloves into the chocolate to coat thoroughly and hang up to let the chocolate set. Remove the paperclips and chill before serving.
