Shortcut Grasshopper Cake

If you've never had the pleasure of tasting a grasshopper cake before, don't wait another minute! Using this recipe for Shortcut Grasshopper Cake you can bake up a deliciously minty confection in no time. Topped with a creme de menthe flavored Cool Whip frosting, this awesome cake is divine. If all cake mix cake recipes tasted this good, we'd never make another kind of dessert again!

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 (12-ounce) can chocolate fudge
  • 7 tablespoon creme de menthe
  • 8 ounce Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix cake according to directions on box and add 3 or 4 tablespoons creme de menthe to the cake batter.
     
  2. Bake according to directions on box. Allow cake to cool.
     
  3. Soften the chocolate fudge in the microwave or set can in hot water.
     
  4. Spread fudge topping on cake.
     
  5. Mix 8 ounces Cool Whip and 2 or 3 tablespoons creme de menthe, according to taste.
     
  6. Spread Cool Whip topping on cake and refrigerate until ready to serve.
