Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • (225gm) yellow cake mix
  • 150 milliliter melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 110 gm icing sugar
  • 200 gm cream cheese

Instructions

Combine the 2 eggs with the cake mix and melted butter and pour into a cake tin. Combine the 3 eggs with the icing (powdered) sugar and cream cheese and place on top of the first mix. Place in an oven pre-heated to 200C (400F) and cook until a light golden brown. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly and turn cake out onto a cooling rack Note: Can be made into chocolate by replacing yellow cake mix with a chocolate one and replacing half of the icing sugar with cocoa.
