Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 3 medium bananas (mashed)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  1. Mix all ingredients except for pecans and 1 tbsp flour.

  2. Mix well in a large bowl until completely combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix pecans with 1 tbsp flour then fold into cake batter.

  4. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.

  5. Bake for 55 – 60 minutes at 300 degrees or until done in the center.

  6. Allow to cool and flip onto a plate.
