If you're looking for quick breakfast recipes to serve to the whole family, look no further than The American. Stacked with flavors of smoked turkey, bacon, and American cheese, it's a great go-to for game snacks or a simple dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounces) tubes of crescent rolls
  • 9 ounce deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 4 strips of turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 slices of American cheese
  • 1 can (2.25-ounces) sliced black olives, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • black pepper, to taste
  • paprika, to taste
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Unroll crescent dough into two rectangles and seal perforations.  Press one rectangle into bottom of 9x13 inch pan.  Layer with turkey, crumbled bacon, and cheese. 

  3. Spread mayonnaise over cheese.

  4. Whisk eggs, pepper, and paprika.  Pour over cheese.  Sprinkle olives over top if desired.

  5. Place remaining crescent roll dough rectangle over top. 

  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. 
     
  7. Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
