Muesli

Muesli

"As a matter of fact, today’s granola bars started out as “crunchy muesli”–a muesli toasted with sugars and oils. Consequently, Nana decided to make this yummy mix of fresh fruits which usually consisted of banana, mango, apple, and orange. Next, she puts in some raisins and raw quick-cooking oats. To satisfy our sweet palate, she’d drizzle in a little of her homemade condensed milk. Can you imagine it now? Hmmm..! We enjoyed it better when frozen. "

NotesYou can add adjust the amount of oats. **Some of the fruits that turn brown are apples, pears, peaches, and bananas. We can prevent browning by brushing the surface of the fruit with juice from citrus fruits, such as lemons, limes, oranges, and calamansi . Lemon juice is often used for this purpose.
