Basic No french Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 24 slices (3/4" thick) French bread, cut from a long 8-oz loaf

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400F. Beat eggs in shallow bowl. Stir in milk, sugar, and vanilla. Dip bread slices in egg mixture. Place slice in single layer on generously buttered foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes per side or til golden brown. Serve with whatever accoutrements you desire.
