"Making perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced Deli Style Roast Beef at home is much easier than you think! It is so easy, in fact, that I cannot believe that I waited so long to try making it! It is tender, juicy and delicious, not to mention the fact that making your own Deli Roast Beef is only about half the price of buying it at the deli. A good Deli Style Roast Beef obviously starts with the right cut of meat. For this recipe, I used a bottom round roast. A top round roast would work just as well, though. What you are looking for is a relatively lean cut of meat."
