"I’ve had a recipe binder for almost 30 years. There are probably twenty different recipes for preparing brisket, all of which I have yet to try. While a smoked brisket is truly amazing, I don’t have a smoker (yet) and using liquid smoke feels like cheating. This delicious recipe for beef brisket is slow-baked in the oven and creates its own tasty tomato based gravy. It’s perfect for cool fall nights and makes a wonderful Sunday supper dish."
