Mom’s Easy Asian Beef Stir-Fry Recipe is one you'll be excited to make for dinner no matter the occasion. Something unique to this recipe is the fact that it uses a vacumn-sealed bag, which allows your beef to marinate in a delicious sauce until it's ready to cook. Seal up your sauce and beef, chill for a half hour and then you're ready to throw everything on the wok and cook. Add the vegetable medley of your choice, cook up a little white rice for serving, and you'll have an Asian-inspired meal that's sure to please.

Ingredients

  • For Marinade
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy suace
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Additional Stir Fry Ingredients
  • 1 (1.5-2 pound) flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 a yellow onion, chopped
  • 5 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 bunch of scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all the marinade ingredients in a vacuum sealer bag with the sliced beef.

  2. Seal the bag using the Oliso Vacuum Sealer. Let sit for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. –OR- Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

  3. Heat 2 tablespoons sesame oil in a wok.

  4. Add the marinade with the beef.

  5. Stir fry the beef for 5-7 minutes until it is browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

  6. Add the onions and let cook for 3-5 minutes until starting to turn translucent.

  7. Add the garlic and ginger. Let cook for an additional minute.

  8. Add the bell pepper, snow peas, and carrots. Cook until soft.

  9. Add the beef back to the pan and stir to combine all the ingredients.

  10. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
