Chicken Yakitori

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins or skinless breast meat
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)

Instructions

Yield: 4 servings. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, oil, sesame seeds and onion in large ziplock bag.. Cut chicken into strips or chunks. Thread meat on six inch bamboo skewers. Place skewered meat in marinade zip bag closed and marinate in refrigerator for at least 5 hours. Grill or broil until cooked through. Baste with marinade while it cooks. Serve hot.
