Crab Rangoon

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1-2 green onions thinly chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce or 1/2 tsp. A-1 Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Light Soy sauce
  • 1 can crab meat, picked over or 6 ounces lump crab picked over
  • 1 package won-ton wrappers
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Peanut or vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

Combine cream cheese and seasonings mix well;add the crab and mix lightly, try not to break up the lump crab meat. Place a heaping tsp. in the middle of each won-ton. Moisten edges of won-tons with egg yolk, gather the edges together and pinch to seal. Deep fry in hot oil in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot. You can also make them into triangles, moisten with the egg yolk and fry. Jan
