Chili Lime Roasted Nuts

A perfect pick-me-up snack that will not make you feel guilty about eating so many, Chili Lime Roasted Nuts are delicious. Seasoned with smoked paprika and chili powder for a southwestern flare, this appetizer from Robin at Knead to Cook is great.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup raw nuts ( whatever you prefer)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smaked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • zest from one lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Toss all of the ingredients together in a bowl.

  3. Then spread out evenly on your baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes then toss. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until golden.

  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Serve them right away or store in an airtight container for 3 months.
