Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine (or vegetable oil)
  • seasoning to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

for one person. Cut potatoes into pieces (with the way I cut them up this ends up being about 1/4" by 1/2" by 1") Melt margarine in frying pan over campfire or on stove. Add potatoes, seasoning, and salt and stir/turn regularly (about once every 5 min, but use your judgement on this depending on cooking temperature) until golden brown. Remove from heat and serve immediately. (Though they taste good cold, too.)
