Asparagus in Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. fresh asparagus-cooked but tender
  • 2 small cans of mushrooms-drained well
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small green pepper chopped small
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh onion

Instructions

Cook and drain asparagus. In meantime mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Add asparagus and mix well. Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Use fresh, sliced mushrooms. Substitute 99% fat free cream of mushroom soup and cup SKIM MILK. Use 1 small RED - ORANGE - OR YELLOW Holland pepper. If pinched for time, use cup frozen diced onion.
