Creamy Potato Soup

Ingredients
  • 4 cups peeled and diced cubes of potato
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 onion
  • 2 packages cream cheese
  • 1 pound sausage, hamburger or beef tips
Instructions

Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender, approximately 16-18 minutes after water begins to boil. Remove potatoes with slotted spoon and reserve cooking water. Blend cream cheese and chicken broth. Add mixture to potatos and 1 1/2 cup of reserved cooking water. Cook sausage in frying pan add chopped onions. When sausage is done add to soup. Add pepper and garlic salt to taste and cook soup for 45 minutes.
