Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail Mix

"Packed full of fluffy white marshmallow “bunny tails” and pastel “eggs,” this 10-minute Bunny Chow recipe is a spring-themed twist on the classic “Puppy Chow." Plus, my version of Muddy Buddies can easily be made nut-free, so it’s a perfect classroom Easter Snack for kids."

I can appreciate a semi homemade treat. I like that I get to control the ingredients and can still come out with a product that is not so unhealthy. Anything in moderation though, right?

I have to admit I have never heard of the "puppy chow" snack mix. But my kids are a lot older than the adorable chaps pictured enjoying the Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail Mix. I am guessing puppy chow is a variation of a trail mix though. This sounds like a cute seasonal treat.

I loved puppy chow when it was first circulating. This is such a cute idea for Easter. It's great to have little bright colored snacks that can be made very quickly. It can be made ahead and packaged up in bags or little baskets to share with elderly relatives too. It tastes really good too!

I never thought of making Puppy Chow in an Easter version. How cute is this!?!? This recipe is easy enough for your kids to help with, which is a really fun way to get them into the kitchen. It would be a cute party treat or gift for a friend. I think it would be a fun surprise to leave out for the kids to leave out for the Easter Bunny before he comes. Maybe a new family tradition? Very cute recipe.

I am so excited to make this Bunny Chow with my granddaughter. I thought we could make little packages and fill them with her homemade Bunny Chow. Then she can give them to the other kids that she attends pre-school with. There are no nuts in this recipe so everything is safe for everyone.
