Baked Caramel Corn

Caramel corn recipes are sweet and absolutely delicious. Use this caramel corn recipe to learn how to make caramel corn that all will love. Easter caramel corn is a beloved holiday treat, and this recipe is ideal for Easter-time and year-round.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 quarts popped popcorn
  • Vanilla
Instructions
  1. Make popcorn and put in a large roasting pan. Set aside.
     
  2. Melt margarine in pan. Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.
     
  3. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
     
  4. Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over corn, mixing well.
     
  5. Bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
     
  6. Remove from oven. Cool, break apart and store in tightly covered containers.
