Easy Bean Soup in a Slow Cooker

If you need to use up some good ham, bean soup is the way to go. This easy bean soup in a slow cooker cooks up all day to make a fragrant and delicious soup broth. Soon this ham and bean soup recipe will be a go-to slow cooker meal!

Ingredients
  • 2 cans (about 16 ounces) whole tomatoes
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 3 medium onions, diced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 can (about 16 ounces) dried beans presoaked, rinsed, and drained
Instructions
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook 3 to 4 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low.
