Old Fashioned Orange Scones

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp grated orange rind
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup currants
  • 1 egg
Instructions

Mix all together and pat into a 6 inch round baking pan. Cut into quarters. Bake at 350F about 25 minutes.
