Ingredients

  • 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of paprika
  • Dash of white pepper
  • 1/2 cup ale or beer
  • 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

Makes 4-6 servings. I use a lager-style beer. I've never tried it with a dark ale, but I think that would be good. Mix seasonings in a skillet. Add the ale and let stand over very low heat until the ale is hot. Add the cheese and stir until it has melted. Serve on hot toast.
