Imitation Crab Meat "lobster" Rolls

Ingredients
  • imitation crab meat
  • hot dog buns
  • mayonnaise or salad dressing to taste
  • green onion to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • shredded lettuce
Instructions

Mash the crab meat in a bowl until loose and flaky. Mix in mayonnaise or salad dressing ( I always use Miracle Whip Ultra Low Fat - I like the tangy flavor), until mixture holds together. You can make it goopier if you want. Add in chopped green onion or chopped regular onion, sweet onion would also be good. Add spices to taste. Butter outside of hot dog buns and grill in fry pan until toasted. Low fat version would be to just toast the buns in a toaster oven. Added shredded lettuce, then crab mixture in each bun. Serve with potato chips, French fries or potato salad or whatever.
