These rolls look heavenly! I never would have thought of making cinnamon honey butter. It would taste so good. I would love to share a tip about getting the dough to rise. I live in a cold climate, so my kitchen is often to chilly to get a proper rise. If you boil a kettle of water and then place the water into a casserole dish and put the casserole into the oven, you have a perfect warm and moist environment for proofing dough. It has been an absolute lifesaver for me when baking. It's like having your own little proofing oven when it's cold out!

Whenever they serve rolls like this at the restaurant I always tell the waitress to "keep 'em comin'"! I often make these and put a homemade garlic herb butter on top before serving when I am serving Italian dishes, but the honey butter is awesome on them when enjoying pumpkin or butternut squash soup in the fall!

My wife and I are both addicted to the rolls at Texas Steakhouse, and I was really happy to come across this copycat recipe. I haven't made these yet, but I intend to very soon. The recipe for the cinnamon honey butter looks spot on and I'd make a tub of that just for day-to-day use. It'd be great on toast or a bagel. Thanks for posting this!

I would love to make these, but I don't own a stand mixer. Does it matter if I just have a small inexpensive mixer? I'm guessing the stand mixers are stronger. I love homemade bread and, wow, cinnamon honey butter would just be amazing. The butter is the sweet part, so if you don't like the sweetness, you can use regular butter or not butter at all.

Fresh rolls are great! The addition of cinnamon honey butter would be a nice treat once in a while. Not all the time. It's fairly sweet so if you don't care for real sweet you probably want to cut down on the sugar and honey. My husband, on the other hand loves sweet and would put it on anything. Leftovers even go on store bought bread.
